Serveal people have mailed me to say that they are old fakes that appeared on a French website sometime last year. This is looking like the most likely explanation. Wasn't it the year before? :nuts:

www.dvdcoverart.com - I think they have some spelling errors on as well! Saw these when I first got a DVD player (Summer 98) there are some 4:3 Laserdisc rips going on some sites if your desperate (I was tempted after getting the Star Wars ones!)

Actually, the ones I've seen are around 2:1 ratio, not quite the full 2.35:1, but still look nice enough. Cheers for the site BTW, was after some hi-res Indy covers, half hoping to find the one posted above.
