Looking around the BOL site last week as I had a £3 voucher that expired on the 17th and I saw that Medal of Honour: AA was £26.99 for pre-order so I tried to order it with my voucher. It was then I found out that you can't use the voucher with pre-orders so I left it in my basket and waited. A few days later the price on their site goes up to £28.99 but my basket still shows £26.99. On the 15th (when they say it's released, and I see it in the shops) it's still listed as pre-order, and also the 16th! I mailed them asking about this, especially as their main pc games page shows it as a pre-order at £26.99 and I get a reply back saying basically "it's £28.99 and out on the 15th".
So now it's the 18th, my voucher has expired, my basket emptied itself of the copy for £26.99 (may be they have a timeout on basket entries) and it's still listed as "pre-order, out on the 15th", and still shows up on their main games page as pre-order for £26.99. Looks like I won't be placing the order with them, and I certainly won't be paying £35 for it on the High St, which is far too much for me to pay for a game I haven't even demoed. I'll probably leave it and maybe buy it when it falls in price.
Thank you BOL - what a complete bunch of muppets!
Still, saved me £30 which I can always put towards something else.
