Just a thread to showcase those little moments that make you realise why you love your favouite tv shows. Most of mine are only a few seconds long. Probably some spoilers so beware.
The Sopranos - Tony trying to suppress a smile when Silvio berates Matt Bevilaqua for cleaning up around him at a poker game.
Supernatural - the boys and Deans car back in commission to the strains of Back In Black.
Entourage - Ari's face when the gay writer he is trying to manage starts feeding Lloyd.
The Wire - Mcnultys driving while supremely drunk and slurring along to The Pogues. Weebay + too much hot sauce as well.
The Shield - Vic Mackey running "through" a fence to apprehend a suspect.
E.R. - Mark Greene & Susan Lewis humming along with a junkie in withdrawals moans.
Deadwood - Jewel complaining that Al is "always draggin that ******* leg"

Spoilers beware here also...
There is moment in Buffy where Spike (still evil) has to join forces with Buffy. She invites him into her house and spike is left sitting with Buffy's mum.
Joyce: Have we met?
Spike: Uh, you hit me with an axe one time. Remember, uh, "Get the hell away from my daughter"?
In Californication the 'donkey punch scene' was one of the most bizarre and hilarious moments I've seen on TV. Also in a season two episode at the dinner party, Julian says he could smell the pregnancy on Sonja then Marcy and Charlie start cracking up.. so funny and in such a natural way that it just blows your mind some one wrote that.
every time Jerry Seinfeld said 'Hello Newman'
Sopranos when Ralph's girlfriend has a dildo up his arse
BSG: The Atmosphere drop AKA The Amada Manoeuvre
Friends: Ross interrupts Joey and Chandler practising talking to girls
Blackadder: Flasheart interrupts the wedding in Series 2

Gordon Cole kissing Shelley in Twin Peaks.
(scripted so Lynch could kiss Madchen Amick. Heh)
Friends - when their doing the quiz with each other, and the boys say to the girls -
what is Chandler's job?
South Park - Good times with Weapons
Butters dressed as a dog, woofing with a shuriken in his eye
Buffy - Buffy catches Spike lurking outside her house and demands to know what he's doing there, giving him five words of less. Spike then says "Out for a walk," counting the words with his fingers and adds on a "bitch" when he realises he has one word left.

So glad they used it in the opening credits for a while.
Lost - In season four, just after Jack and Kate meet Faraday, he asks them where the rest of their people are. It then cuts to an overhead view of Locke, standing in the open in a rain storm with his head tilted upward, eyes closed and a slight smile on his face. It's a great shot and perfectly captures the character.
Season 2 - Jack comes into the hatch and finds Sawyer manning the button. Sawyer casually inputs the numbers and tells him to hold on, he's nearly beaten the high score in Donkey Kong.

:D I loved that.
Also loved Spikes crappy drawing of Angel taped to his punch bag.

Green Wing: the magnificent Dr Alan Roderick Statham, wracked with guilt at killing a dwarf, has a stuttering panic attack whilst tutoring his students – doing a marvellous bent-double-backwards kind of manoeuvre as he almost passes out – and demands the kiss of life from Boyce – which sends his limbs into spasm.
You had to be there.
Oh, and another vote for the BSG Adama manoeuvre. "This ought to be different." So say we all!

The Buffy ones just make me realise how good Thursday night Sky One used to be
Buffy - Buffy catches Spike lurking outside her house and demands to know what he's doing there, giving him five words of less. Spike then says "Out for a walk," counting the words with his fingers and adds on a "bitch" when he realises he has one word left.
:D yep, like that one....another one that springs to mind is Principal Wood in his office unaware of Spike trying to stop Buffy killing him with a rocket launcher from outside his window

A friend was telling me about this the other day, he was watching it on a some channel which usually heavily edits it's shows, and they cut out the last word so it just seemed like Spike couldn't count :D
Angel - Dunno the name of the ep but Fred's dead and become Illyria when we see a little flashback to Fred leaving her home and parents for the first time.
Buffy - The season finale that sees Spike seemingly fighting to have his chip removed once and for all ends with the shocking ' We restore......your soul! '
I miss Buffy & Angel :(
Friends - when their doing the quiz with each other, and the boys say to the girls -
what is Chandler's job?
Wasn't that the question that lost the girls their appartment ?
All the Big Lebowski references in Veronica Mars, plus every time Veronica mentions her wish for a pony.
So many West Wing moments that it's hard to recall them all, but just a few:
Bartlett's speech in the cathedral.
When Bartlett gives Charlie the knife.
Josh and Toby realising they've changed time zones.
The explanation scene for Josh's PTSD (with Yo Yo Ma).
"I had woot canal!"
The whole build up to Zoe's abduction (best use of music (Angel) in a TV show ever).
McNulty emotionally destroying Brianna over D'Angelo's death:
(From 5:15 - 8:22. McNulty's parting line gives me shivers)
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lIjx62wJr1I&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lIjx62wJr1I&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
the secret plan to beat inflation was one of my highlights, such a great series.
Bartlett's speech to god and brothers in arms at the end of season 2 was another magnificent moment.

I cpould quote Buffy, Angel and Firefly for hours. But this one is pretty special:
"Spike: (as Rachel) How can I thank you, you mysterious black-clad hunk of a night thing? (as Angel) No need, little lady, your tears of gratitude are enough for me. You see, I was once a badass vampire, but love and a pesky curse defanged me. Now I'm just a big, fluffy puppy with bad teeth. No, not the hair! Never the hair! (as Rachel) But there must be some way I can show my appreciation? (as Angel) No, helping those in need is my job, and working up a load of sexual tension and prancing away like a magnificent poof is truly thanks enough. (as Rachel) I understand. I have a nephew who is gay so... (as Angel) Say no more. Evil is still afoot. And I'm almost out of that nancy-boy hair-gel I like so much. Quickly, to the Angel-mobile, away!"
Gordon Cole kissing Shelley in Twin Peaks.
(scripted so Lynch could kiss Madchen Amick. Heh)
Every scene between Gordon and Shelley was sweet and hilarious, especialy when he finds that he can hear her. A real oasis in the (mostly) desert of Season 2.
For me 'the' Wire moment was my fave character, D'Angelo discussing Great Gatsby in his prison class. worth posting in full:
He's saying that the past is always with us. Where we come from, what we go through, how we go throught it all this **** matters. Like at the end of the book, ya know, boats and tides and all. It's like you can change up, right, you can say your somebody new, you can give yourself a whole new story. But, what came first is who you really are and what happened before is what really happened. It don't matter that some fool say he different cuz the things that make you different is what you really do, what u really go through. Like, ya know, all those books in his library. He frontin with all them books, but if you pull one down off the shelf, none of the pages have ever been opened. He got all them books, and he hasn't read nearly one of them. Gatsby, he was who he was, and he did what he did. And cuz he wasn't willing to get real with the story, that **** caught up to him. That's what I think, anyway
Office- Xmas special, Brent telling Finchy to **** off
Curb your enthusiasm...so many come to mind, most recently, 'I'm Larry David, I'm anonymous!' and where he wants to use the sheet in bed with the Jewish woman

The Shield - Vic Mackey running "through" a fence to apprehend a suspect
...after the suspect took the slow route over. Genius
These are the ones that come immediately to mind.
The opening moments of the second series of Lost.
Angel trying to kill Wes with a pillow while he's in hospital.
The journos trying to figure out what to do with the briefcase in State of Play.
Veronica Mars making a joke about "rimjobs".
Sydney's dad's hand/vice torture of the mole at the end of series 1 of Alias.
Beecher taking a dump on Schillinger's head - Oz series 1 (special mention goes to Ally Sheedy and a cock).
Oh and of course...

William Shatners face when he was surrounded by Tribbles, and the odd one kept falling out and bouncing on his head.It reminded me of Oliver Hardy sitting under the chimney, when those bricks kept dropping on his head.
Chuck - when Casey knocks out the assassin pointing a gun at Chuck with a thrown microwave oven.
BSG: The Atmosphere drop AKA The Amada Manoeuvre.
Only two I can think of at the mo.
