2 bodies (450D and a 400D)

2 lenses(70-200mm f4 and a 17-40mm f4)

Which lens would be best suited to which body for the majority of circumstances ?

Remember there are no stupid questions, just stupid people :)

The lenses would be perfectly OK on either body - to be honest other than one has more megapixels it shouldn't really matter.

Out of the two lenses, I'd plumb for the 17-40mm, but thats just down to my style of shooting. I like fairly wide lenses and hammered my 50mm prime & hardly ever touched my 55-200mm tele. It really is down to your preferred genre.
