Watched this on ITV again as it is one of my all-time fave TV movies.

Apparently there is a Region 4 dvd release in 4:3 but the image on the ITV showing did look cropped at times , both top/bottom & at the sides.

Can anyone shed any light as to whether or not it was shot in a 'widescreen' format as the IMDB only lists it as being shot in 35mm? (my technical knowledge is rather limited here :D )

Thanks in advance for any help.

can't help you out, but just wanted to say saw this last night and thought what a good film!! one of those true story TV movies that takes only one minute to pull you in and keep you there -- excellent performances from the whole cast.. wonder what the director is doing now??!!

The director was Mick Jackson, a Brit no less, whose best known films are LA Story, The Bodyguard and Volcano.
