Was one of the first R1 DVDs that I got, although that was mostly because my vid was in tatters!

If you love the film then get the DVD!!

Been a while since I watched it, but seem to remember the documentary was quite good. Not got around to listening to the commmentary, so can't tell you how that rates.

I'd never say I'm one of the DVD perfectionists, just happy that it looked and sounded better than my VHS copy.

If you really like the film, then the DVD's fine! Like Jonny G said, it's way better than my old VHS copy, in the proper ratio, pretty good documentary (I also haven't listened to the commentary, so can't comment) and there are still no signs of it showing up over here on R2!

The only disappointment for me was the movie itself - it didn't quite live up to my memory of it when I was a lad!

I still kept the DVD, though!;)
