View Full Version : A Camp - Colonia
Struggling slightly to get into the new A Camp album (loved the last one) but just back from seeing them tonight in Birmingham and they were fabulous.
Very attentive audience and the band seemed like they were having fun.
Big surprise (at least to me) of having Leona Naess supporting (in a rather un-organised, but very sweet, set).
Very under-appreciated (both of them).

Will be nice to see Leona Naess - remember going to the Betsey Trotwood in London a few years ago (a place about the size of a broom cupboard) to see Brooke Fraser and Jontha Brooke - the staff there were somewhat baffled by the fact that Diana Ross has been in the night before to see Ms Naess, not realising that she's Leona's stepmother.

I loved A Camp first album, I sadly cannot get into this second album at all, very bland and I think I stuck it on 2 times and gave up :( it bored me senseless.
I would see them live, but disapointed that not one song on the second album was even good for me (yet, I am sure I will keep at it).
Love Has Left The Room and My America have been getting quite a few spins today.
It didn't spoil my enjoyment of last night a jot that I didn't really know the new album. Like you Romero I had tried to play it a couple of times last month and then stuck it away. I'm slowly learning to like it though.
