I currently watch and record TV through a Digihome PVR 80 Freeview box. I recently bought a Plasma LG32pg60 TV with built in Freeview (although I do not use that facility). Randomly I lose all sound (during both live and playback recordings), and can only recover it by switching the Freeview box off (to standby) and then back on again. It occurs completely randomly, sometimes every couple of minutes, sometimes every couple of hours. It does NOT happen when I watch DVDs through a separate DVD player. This problem has only started since I bought the LG Plasma TV. It did not occur with my previous TV set up in the same location using the same aerial. I do not live on a Main Road and I have not changed any other electrical appliances nearby, so I don't think that interference is a problem. Also it does not occur if I watch TV without using the Digihome (therefore think that it is either a Freeview box problem or a compatibility problem).
