so the R1 season 2 is due may21st. 6 months after season 1. so can we expect season 2, 6 months arfer season 1? when was R2 season 1 released here?

Amazon.co.uk have it listed for release on 17 June.

S2 R2: Jun17 (Amazon.co.uk) May 20 (Play247), rrp £39.99

Where did you here about R1 S2? No sign of it on any sites I've looked at (so far) :confused:

Be interesting to see the price, and whether the R2 S2 rrp really is the same as the S1 price bearing in mind the extra disc.

I've read that the R2 version might also be on 4 discs. Nobody is sure so far, so their might not be an extra disc on the R1 version.

I'm hoping that the R1 is cheaper (as in the case of season 1)

Have any of the R1 suppliers started listing it for pre-order yet?

I haven't seen any yet personally.

Yep, here's the first one I've spotted, $36.60 inc p&p for their US customers, so they list the release date as Jun 4th and the rrp at $49.99

According to amazon.com the RRP for Season 1 is $39.98, so if the RRP for Season 2 is $49.99, that's just a price differential of $10 or £7.

I know it's just an approximation, but if Play work out their season 2 pricing using the same differential (based on their season 1 selling for £17.99) it might come out at about £24.99 for Season 2 (R1).

Here's hoping.... :)

The only problem with busting the £18 barrier for Play is customs payments on R1 discs.

They got burnt with the Superman box set which retailed at £39.99 and had to refund a lot of people, the price went up by a fiver to compensate shortly after.

Yeah - I hope that the same thing doesn't happen as you mentioned above.

Has there been any info from Ringos about how muich they'll be charging?
