DVD+R is new and it requires a drive that supports it. Most current DVD+RW drives won't support DVD+R.

Find more info at

i know they took ages to bring out dvd+r, but i think there's a chance that my drive will support it. i cant find anywhere that sells the dvd+r media though and in the end, by trying to burn onto one of those is the only surefire way of testing it.

Even if your drive will support it, you'll probably need a firmware update. Check out those sites i gave you for the latest news :-)

i already read dvdwriters.co.uk yesterday. what i would like to know is where can i buy dvd+r media from.
the only place i could find was in europe and that cost about 25 euros for postage. is there anywhere in the UK?
