I can't order anything, when i click the checkout button
it slowly progresses then drops to a funky error 500.100
EDIT: I can't log into my account either, must be their server...

Strange, the site loads up fine and dandy for me, but get an error page when going to the checkout.

The secure server is down - if you read the error page it's failing on a certain line of an asp page. Cannot get to checkout or login to my account, so I've mailed them the error page.
It was all working at 10.00am.

its still not working for me...
it stopped working about 4 days ago and still nothing.
i thought it might be something to do with my browser or maybe some obscure software clash on my computer. i was talking to my mates on msn, it doesn't work for 3 of them and for 1 it does but he can't order because of an error 500.
whats going on, i use play regularly, and im not happy

I'm on NTL cable modem and no probs at all. The site has never been faster infact!
Can't say I've had any problems accessing the Play site over the weekend. No difference in speed of loading for me unfortunately. :(

i changed browsers, (I.E, netscape, and opera.) reinsatlled......still nothing....no pages nada......just an error.
I'm on Blueyonder as well and I just get a "HTTP 500 - Internal server error". Maybe it's the Blueyonder webcaches messing up.
Still working fine via Freeserve.
Was able to access Play from home over the weekend, but am getting no response at all from their site in work this morning. There's something up there.

http://www.play.com/ doesn't work for me, but http://194.193.248.139/ does (put play.com into http://www.samspade.org/ to see where I got that number from).
https://www.playsecureserver.com/ seems to be working fine too for ordering purposes, haven't tried logging in or anything though.

Ordered a DVD half an hour ago with no problems. I'm on Totalise dialup.

http://www.play.com/ doesn't work for me, neither does http://194.193.248.139/ . When I use https://www.playsecureserver.com/ , I get a blank Play screen saying "Welcome to our secure server" with no links to anywhere.
I've sent an e-mail to Info@play247.com to advise them of the problem, but have just got the automated response so far.
One of my friends who's a network engineer reckons Play is suffering from overloaded servers or something like that. He says it explains why some people can view the site and others can't. People that can see the site have some got a better internet conncetion allowing them to have first access to the site.
