I wouldn't worry about missing it. It's pretty dull by Ghibli standards.

Yup Ursula Le Guin got done over by her compatriots with a potter in earthsea production then lets Ghibli do it because of Miyazakis rep and gets the wrong Miyazaki who turns out a feature length film which seems to be a short story with no depth and little to connect it to Earthsea aside from doing a mish mash of characters from the books.
Give it a miss.
