View Full Version : Inkjet Refill Kits
I bought one of the cheap Apollo P2100 printers and having printed off quite a few cdr labels ;-) the ink has run out.
Now we all know the printer only cost 25 quid with official cartridges costing the same.
However, can people make some recommendations as to what I would need to buy to refill these cartridges and who can supply them at the best possible price?
Thanks.
Dunno if they sell the carts for the Apollo but:
CHOICE (http://www.choicestationery.net/acatalog/index.html)
Is where I get me refurbished HP Carts from.
The printer uses C6614 (HP20), 51649 (HP49) and C1816 photo, so it is HP compatible. However, think I will get better value for money from refill kits but a little confused as to what exactly I need to buy.
those refill kits have the ink (black and/or colour depending on which you buy) and a syringe, you make a hole in your cartridge (sometimes already there) and syringe the ink into it. You can pick them up in PCWorld or try

and also choice mentioned above
How easy/hard is it to use refills? Im a bird but quite good at these technical things but I dont want to bulls up the printer.
Choice dont do the carts for my deskjet 3820 so this has limited my options really.
