[XBox 360] Gears of War 2 Horde maps

I have all three map packs and the blurb explicitly states that you can play horde on them. However none of the maps have ever come up as a map option during the matchmaking phase. Is there any way to select them as a preferred map or set up a hosted game using them?

I can't work this one out:thinking:

Sucks doesn't it, I guess when you matchmake (i.e. play public) the majority of people only have the maps shipped on the disc, or the players have some maps others don't so as a rule don't get chosen (tho I have played flashback maps on public horde)

The only way is to play private games with mates, (or local, but on your own.. well, good luck!)then you can choose the maps yourself. What is particularly annoying is the fact that for competitive multiplayer (execution, etc) you can choose to play the map packs, why can't they just add a horde option?
