I just saw the trailer and was struck by the similarity, is it just me?

Logan’s Run, Total Recall....it’s a well-mined genre although this at least is sourced from a Philip K Dick story, as was Total Recall aka We Can Remember it for you Wholesale. I’m sure it’ll be entertaining but it doesn’t look like anything we haven’t seen many times already.

hmmmmm.......Tom Cruise as member of a Government Agency.......Agency comes after him.....he tries to evade them......Mission Impossible: the Next Generation anyone?

True it's a well trodden premise but at least with Speilberg and Cruise involved it will have high production values and stands a chance of being good. It's been some time since there's been a good sci-fi yarn, so I'm looking forward to it.

looks more like a cross between timecop and an episode of the new outer limits - cant remember the title but amanda plummer and michelle forbes were in it.
