View Full Version : Heroes 3x21 "into asylum" ***spoilers***
Oh god this was so boring! Pantytroll and Strokeface trying to do serious "acting" is just embarrassing. And this boo hoo redemption for Angela is just bonkers. Why should we feel sorry for her? She and her cronies are always talking about "saving the world" yet it has nothing to do with most of their actions or motivations!
And who didn't see the shape-shift twist coming!
weak!

The best thing about Heroes this week was the "save the cheerleader, save the world" line on House ;-)

Only highlight was that Claire was looking nice, especially since she's got her bangs back.
It was pretty pathetic. I expected the end to signify the end of Sylar as we know him so the actor could leave and go do movies.
Liked the use of music in this episode. As stated above, very predicable use of the shapeshifter (though I did like the Se7enesque delivery).
You certainly know the show is back to DULL-mode when I spent most the episode thinking, "Oooh, doesn't Clare-Bear look cute with her bangs & no clown-makeup".
The shapeshifter sleight-of-hand fooled me only because they cheated. They quickly established that shapeshifter-bloke needed to touch someone so he could imitate them..... so did anyone spot when he touched Sylar? ... No, didn't think so!

I guess he didn't have to touch them afterall, the close ups of him touching people was just a bluff to make the twist later on less obvious. I enjoyed last week's episode but this was a bog dip back to the usual horrible form.

A bit of a dull one and surely they are now making Sylar too powerful by giving him the shapeshifter power?

I liked it, apart from the Sylar shapeshifter bit...
Of course, if I was Sylar, i'd swiftly get naked, find a huge mirror, shapeshift into Angelina Jolie & then start misbehaving. :)
if i Mr baldy in a club i would have just jumped right in as soon as the 'other' me left and carried on with the girl
If I was Danko I'd be crying in a corner because I went from Damages to this.
At least he didn't go from The Wire to 90210!
Damn, they dropped the ball again this week. :( Apart from shape-shifty man we didn't see anyone use any powers! Well, not outwardly, the regenerative liver must be a bummer if you fancy a drink.

Considering he's able to teleport from the backseat of a car to a nearby rooftop I'm thinking that shape-shifting isn't that special.
Where did the teleportation power come from?
Where did the teleportation power come from?
as far as I'm aware he hasn't go the teleportation power
I thought it was a "projection" power he used - not sure where he got that from though
I just assumed he used his TK to launch himself onto the roof.

If I recall correctly he was whistling just before he 'disappeared' so at a stretch it could be the lullaby power he got from his dad.
Or realistically it was just cheesy witting and it was one of those 'evil villain can disappear and reappear at will' moments'
That was like watching paint dry. Who wrote that drivel?
i agree, wasnt that good this episode
peter praying for help???, come on their super heroes!!!

Could have been anything, acting ability, purpose to the plot, ratings jump, brain power, Hayden to take him back.....

Not a patch on last weeks but I still enjoyed it.
Prefer a slower character episode than the rapid 'plot jumping all over the place' stuff we've been getting for most of this season.
Which poor sod was that?
That'd be Michael (Tristan Wilds), he's one of the main characters in 90210.
Yeah that's right! Sorry Harsin, didn't see your post previously.

Finally got round to watching this, wasn't bad. I don't mind the slower episodes as they focussed on 4 couples Nathan/Clair who was looked really cute this week. Peter/Angella Sylar/Danko and Danko/HRG.
Though continuity wise didn't Clair think her father was an ass when she first met him as he was focussed on rejecting her.
Not sure whether HRG was fooled by the Sylar body in the bag.
