The Protectors getting squeezed!

What are people here making of Carlton's imminent release of The Protectors (Series One) in R2 with episodes 1-8 appearing to be squashed onto ONE disc? Comments, information please?

If you are looking forward to this [?] it shouldn't be a problem - it's a 25 minute series, thus 8 x 25m will be no different to the 4 x 50m episodes of "Randall..." and "The Champions" they put on their other discs.

And that's a fair point, but the feeling on these other discs was...?

I just know how annoyed some folk are that all six episodes of Hitchhikers are on one disc...

The R&H transfers look very good indeed (IMO). Not perfect but great for a 30 year old TV show...
