Getting some more business cards printed and have decided to do the design myself - have done a basic one using some old photos to get me started and have to to convert it and seen that the colours have faded.

I know this is a common problem but is their a way round it? I'm sure their must be a way!!! Even if it means starting again with the images from scratch!

Help!

One way which might help, in Photoshop you can change from RGB to LAB colour and then to CMYK, that can sometimes retain some of the colour, can't rememebr where I heard that, but I have had ok results.

Either that or readjust for CMYK? Sorry, not very helpful.

Just do a slight S-curve adjustment (opposite in CMYK) in photoshop once you've converted them all, it'll bring back some of the lost vibrance.
