Well a mixed bag this week,

Started off :eek:

Then became really dull in the middle,

Then the last 15min it all kicked off big time!

Cameron really swings her hips when she walks. Noticed that a fair bit today :D

I still think that they could speed this up a bit as I found it slow, but when I think about it a fair bit happened:

Cancer/bug - although how did Sarah know that they were coming for her then? After all the transmitter must have been in her for weeks.

Kidnap, for a well planned ambush on Cameron wouldn't they know how long and electric shock would put her under for? Or has she had an upgrade from John, IRC an earlier episode set the time for a reboot after an electric shock.

The existence of John Henry's brother, which for me was the most interesting plot development so far.

Got dull in the middle, I thought we were getting another long drawn out look at one of heroes angst. Then it threw us a curve ball, Sarah wasn't making a very ill timed play for Charlie, the cancers back ... oh not its not, its a bug from a new enemy - apparently proto!Skynet is festering in cyberspace slowly growing in power and sophistication. Though luckily its not all knowing otherwise its agents would have cooked Cameron longer.

Not sure why you insert your tracker into the breast, whats wrong with the arm or shoulder or thigh, afterall he did take her jeans off.

Bye bye Charlie, the Connors are poisen to everyone they know. Is it any wonder Future!John becomes detached from humanity at large?

eta what was the point of the jungle flashback, simply to show Johns weird family history as a contrast to the domestic bliss of Charlie as father?

I really thought for a moment that cromatie (sp?) was getting a complete reboot at the begining there and his Terminator mode would be back in full effect.

a few nods to T3 in that one - which i like. Sure it wasn't the best movie and this is an alternate timeline, but it is nice to see some of the stuff from that timeline being hinted at, so they aren't entirely discounting the events of that film. Especially the fact that 'skynet' is AI software, not a physical entity, so judgement day is inevitable as you can't stop software infecting most of the world's computers!

haha, i thought that as well. Perhaps he doesn't know how to change a tyre :D and surely with cameron's deadly accuracy she could have taken out the tyres on that van, and/or got a headshot on both the driver and passenger?

so are we to assume that john henry's "brother" is non-physical and was communicating with the henchmen via a voice program?:thinking:Thats my take, I thought it was a program that's been around since the cyberdyne dayd slowly improving itself (very out there I'll admit) but another idea I read on TWoP is that Fisher the grey Derek and Jessie interrogated then killed inserted a program into a defence computer, is that the 'brother' John Henry speaks of. [Which gives rise to an ontological paradox much like the compass from Lost]

the show is getting better again after the terrible middle part of the series (although the flashbacks to young john are not very good and brings the episode down)

with cromatie, there is nothing to reboot as it was all on the chip, john and co destroyed.

Mixed bag certainly. Started off well, gets dull, ramps up again. When they actually move things along the show is very good, they really need to do it more often. Yep, some nice links to T3 as well.

Great stuff again if not quite up to the standard of last week. If this programme does get cancelled then it's certainly going out with a bang.

Probably so we got to see that great scene between Sarah and Charlie. Here touch my breast ... 'ooh score ..... wait whatsthatnow?' The palpable sexual tension would have been lost had he been touching up her elbow.

That was a truly slaphead moment. Having said that if she can undo the wheel nuts of that beast with her fingers i'd have probably let her at it too.

Lena in jungle + pigtails + combats = Tomb Raider audition tape either that or it was to establish that John is pretty good at hide and seek.

As fun as this series is I can't say i'd be that devastated if it was all to end in two episodes.

So what's the betting that Catherine Weaver has been sent back in time by the faction of machines that want peace with humanity and that she's looking to "humanise" Skynet or else use "John Henry" to nullify the original "source code".

'the brother' was after Cameron to use as a 'body'. He got the schematics from 'john henry' when he infiltrated his systems. He was after the main/original AI system/unit (the black box) before he was switched off.

Really interesting stuff.

looks like the last couple of episodes could be fast paced.

Liquid metal job in the sub was pretty interesting too... would they 'join us'?!?!? are there two factions amongst the Terminators? How did they initiate contact etc???

could be a nice spin on it but she was also show by JH as buying up all the land where the metals could be found for future T manufacture. I think they could spin it either way...

Maybe the humanising factor of having a 'daughter' to deal with is forcing her to change or adapt her programming???
