View Full Version : MP3 playback on dvd players
If I copy say 100 mp3s straight to a blank cdr, is this the sort of thing mp3 compatible dvd players play, or does it refer to them being burnt as wav files so they can be played on normal cd players etc?
Do you have a specific player in mind ?
Most modern players can handle the MP3 format burned onto CD-R/RW. In the early days it was considered a bit of a luxury :)
if it says it can play mp3's then it means mp3 files burnt onto CDR/W as you said. Theres no point in saying it can play mp3 converted to WAV cos thats just a normal audio CD.
Thanks.
No specific player in mind, it's just that my Tosh2109 doesn't read cdrs, and having a lot of mp3's, and sometimes burning them onto cdrs for my personal cd, it might be useful if I could play these on my dvd player....
