I was having a browse around Play when I noticed that they are offering the R" version for a tenner and the R1 for £17.
Does anyone know if its worth shelling out for the R1 ?

Its not worth it as they are both the same.
Iv got the R2 on order at play as £10 is a bargain for a clasic movie.

£18 delivered from Blackstar for me...it really is a crying shame that Play don't ship to Australia.

I think Under18 will ship to Australia, you should try them.

feverpitch96, you should note:
1) Blackstar doesn't remove VAT and charges shipping
2) Amazon UK does remove VAT, so Amazon will probably be cheaper.
Still, it's a shame Play doesn't ship OS.
I think the question has been answered but belongs in the Region Comparison Forum. Moving.
feverpitch96 From what I recall, Benson's World has free worldwide shipping. Perhaps it might be worth trying them. There used to be a free £5 off coupon via safedoor too. Not sure if it applies on to UK though.

But what's their URL? I'm getting some very strange stuff turning up while trying the obvious ones...
They used to be under18 (www.under18.org.uk) but are now known as splashdvd (www.splashdvd.com) - I wonder why  :D
Couldn't find anything on their shipping policy though.

If I remember correctly, someone on these forums told me that they E-mailed them a while back & they were prepared to ship to HK or Canada, so they should be prepared to ship to Australia.
