View Full Version : Orange Retentions
Spoke to Orange on Tuesday as my contract had expired and was looking to move to O2 Simplicity.
Was currently on Canary 30 (400 mins, 500 text, unlimited anytime calls to Orange mobiles) plus Unlimited Data for £37.50 a month. They offered the same contract for £13.50 (including my 10% loyalty bonus) for 18 months including a free Nokia 6500 slide, which I sold of eBay for £80.00.
All in all a saving of £512.00 over 18 months.
Nice one Markie....you got lucky....They offered me something crap so I got a new Orange contract.
I'd check one thing though, are you sure its unlimited data? I thought Orange only do the 500mb /month package
you always get a good deal when your contracts up for renewal, i know i do.
currently on 300 mins unlimited text with free wireless BB from orange for 20 per month which i thought was good
I got a new contract with Orange... 500mins, 100 texts, unlimited landline minutes...and a HTC Touch HD for under £25....
Via upgrade i would have to pay £150 for the phone.
Grilli....thats not an amazing deal you go, unless they gave you a decent handset free with it

Don't you mean you originally paid £512.00 too much for your previous contract :suspect:

I've also just taken out a new contract with Orange. 500 minutes/month to any network, 100 texts/month, and unlimited calls to landlines, Nokia 5800 and broadband for £15/month.
I've found it's best to phone a few times and speak to different advisors as they all seem to offer different deals. Start negotiating well in advance and be patient. Oh, and threaten to leave if you're not happy with what they offer.
