Dances with Wolves SE!

We're hearing that their Dances with Wolves: Special Edition will arrive sometime in the second half of the year, and it will have both the U.S. theatrical version and the longer European cut of the film.

Very good news this. Never seen the massive longer cut.....that in itself will most certainly have to be on at least 2 discs, if not 3, I would imagine.

The R1 DTS version is 2 discs. It does have a 1500kpbs DTS sound track, so the SE better at least have the same.

It might even be a 5 disc set. 2 discs for each version in DTS and 1 disc for extras. I've been waiting for this for a long time, hence why I haven't got another version of this disc which is available.

5-disc set! If I was producing this disc it would have seamless branching and not become a piece of DVD bloatware equivalent to some Windows software.

Three discs max for this set. Two for the movie in both it's DTS variants, and the third devoted to extras alone.

Better than full bitrate DTS? ;)

I guess the 4 hour cut with full bitrate DTS would be better, as long as it has the same high bitrate video as the 2 disk R1 DTS.

there is a spanish release 3 disc box of dances with wolves 2 versions of the movie and a disc of extras
theres also a standard 2 disc version with 2 versions of the movie
