I dont understand how these superstores keep on pushing out games at a massive loss - not bad for gamers though! :)

I imagine EA are selling these cheap to build up the ip for the sequels. (see also Mirrors edge and Sony's Little Big Planet.)
Aren't they selling cheap because they tanked though? Or is selling them cheap after tanking making the best of a bad deal to strengthen the ground for sequels?

I managed to pick one up which I've just had a go on. I've put that copy on the classifieds (it's a bit dark and dingy for me) as a trader - if I don't get a decent trade for it in the next few days I'll put it up for sale. If you still want a copy then, you can put your dibs on it. :)
No worries.

Can't see anything so far.
Cheer OP, already own Dead Space which I thought was a great game at the £17.99 I paid for it.
I did browse their other stuff and went for Skate on the 360 @ £12.91 which is pretty decent considering its been out of stock or otherwise selling at hefty prices for the past few months.

Its the supermarkets selling them at a loss to get footfall in and people buy their bread etc - however whats really happening is that most of the time people are comin just for the games (its ruining the industry for the specialists!)
But got to say its a great price if you can pick it up for less than a tenner

I picked it up last night BTW
can anyone compare this to another game in terms of style and how good it is please.
Its slick, well presented, well paced, scary in places unlike RE5, has a good variety of weapons/upgrades and has a very well done take on the inventory/map/in game comms system. Great boss batles as well and its graphically a pretty good looking game.
Elements of the story reminded of Event Horizon, the ship stranded in space and a crew sent out to investigate aspect along with some other stuff which I won't spoil for you. Theres was a full anime feature length DVD movie and animated comic book type thing which came out around the same time as the game to compliment the game and provide further back story to the game.
Some people say the game is resident evil in space but I think its a title which has its own ideas and should be taken on its own merits.
What im basically saying is that at £15.91 its a steal, I don't think many would disagree, gamerankings probably agree.
Ah! I probably should have said I have a PS3 not a 360!
Anyone with an Xbox fancy a copy of Dead Space for £12? Just as well my copy of Bad Company turned up today.
