Is the pilot film deffo included on this release?

I'm pretty certain it is. From the Amazon review:

Created for TV by Glenn Gordon Caron (Remington Steele), the romantic comedy/detective drama was a mid-season replacement that quickly became a hit. There were only six episodes in the first season, including the two-part pilot, but 18 were produced for the second.

I still remember the pilot now, even though I haven't seen it since it was first shown. Remember the watch (and clock) with no hands?

Yeah! It's a damn good pilot! :)
It says 6 discs for this everywhere so I guess we get the pilot. The Australian release (out 2 years before the UK version it appears) was 5 discs and didn't include the pilot, which is why I asked (as same company / coding etc).

Richie

Just to confirm, yes the pilot is included.

You had to spoil it by saying "20 years ago"......now I do feel old.:(

Scary, isn't it? And that's just for the end of the series' run - it's even worse when you consider that it all started almost 25 years ago...

Yep, that's made me feel ancient as well.

thanks Alan - don't know about others, but I'd really appreciate it if the original price could be kept in OP's, and new price added, rather than just replaced

For those of you who like their boxsets to be in pristine condition, you should note that the Amazon Jeeves and Wooster bargain is actually through Indigostarfish, who are based in the Channel Islands and use jiffy bags rather than the usual Amazon packaging.

Moonlighting - Season 3 (released 20/04/09; RRP £29.99) is now £3.63 - £3.99 at various Hut Group sites

Price Searching: www.pricesearching.co.uk/DVDDetail/mfno1091962

Dunno if it's a misprice, but I went for it (picked up S1&2 for £4.89 @ Sendit several weeks ago :))

Excellent spot! I've been after this for a while, but was waiting for it to come down a bit.

Don't think there is any doubt that's the wrong price, but got to be worth a punt!

That's why it is so cheap!almost every retailer has that wrong ;)
- it's a 15 episode season, so probably 4 discs (like the US/R1 release)

My Asda order status is currently "Awaiting Stock Pick" - so I suppose it could still go either way
