View Full Version : Heroes S3E17 **spoilers**
Since everyone is avoiding creating the thread...I'll bite.
The three stooges = :cuckoo:
No Sylar = :oh-hum:
I think they've run out of sets as well...
An explosion painted on the floor of Isaac's studio...?
Wait, what...again?
Isaac's picture was better.
Thought It was okay until they came for Matt, was I the only one wondering why Matt didn't start a bloodbath or at least create an illusion to escape?

This is getting quite sad now :( Have the writers of this show totally run out of ideas or what. I think that entire 45 minutes was pointless, it didn't further the 'story' in any shape or format, seriously disappointing. BTW this is the first time i've posted negative comments abouts heroes but unless something dramatic happens in next weeks episode I think I won't bother any more.

An episode focusing on Peter, Borehinder and Parkman was never going to be exciting but this was dire even for Heroes. Watching Mohinder debate with Parkman the ethics of interrogating their enemy was painful.
Surprisingly Peter was interesting though the writers gave in to the "heroes never kill" stereotype. Haven't they ever watched Smallville?
The reveal that HRG is working for Angela to an unknown end will hopefully lead somewhere did I miss some symbolism with the watch?
I might give up after this season...awful!
A painting of <s>New York</s> Washington getting nuked. Seriously? Seriously?
The fact that nothing much happened and the pace was slowed down made it more watchable than in previous weeks for me.
Shame about the WACKY ending.
Blimey! .. I thought last week's was dull but this was coma-inducing. You know it's bad when i'm now on my knees begging for it to return to the looney-tune madness of early S3.... oh & Parkman has got his mental artwork channels mixed up ... surely his new flooring art is from this season's upcoming 24 finale?

I'm normally one to defend Heros to the hilt and even a bad episode is usually better than most of the dross on telly.
But the last few, actually make that this season, has just been terrible. Maybe Lost is just eclipsing it but I don't think I'll bother with this for much longer unless they actually come up with some ideas.

I think it's generally a retirement gift. Him not accepting it shows he still has work to do.
Didn't think much of the floor painting, but I don't think it's a nuke. It looks more like Parkman goes to Washington as a suicide bomber (presumably to blow up the politicians legislating against people with powers). Mohinder, agonising over the treatment of HRG, should think back to the cocoons he was putting people in earlier this season. I wasn't bothered about there being no Sylar, as I thought the story was pretty good, and it gave motivation for HRG's actions in siding with Angela against Nathan and whatshisface. Surprised no one has mentioned his (black ops guy's) acting. I don't think Zachary Quinto is the best actor in the show any more.
Enjoyed that up to the point Matt started painting again - another save the city from a large explosion scenario - where the explosion is caused by one of them. I feel like I am Hiro and have gone back in time two seasons!!!
They should also avoid scenes where Peter has a gun on someone, a flesh wound doesn't count. He is just not going to shoot anyone so I wish they'd stop showing us scenes like that. And, brainless as ever, did he think killing that guy would stop everything? :oh-hum: It pains me how far downhill this has gone...and I enjoyed season 2.

So, Daphne's still alive then. Why can't they (Nathan's people) save her?

Im not sure its a matter of they can't save her, its more a matter of they wont save her.

I seem to enjoy the ones nobody else does...
Apart from the ending this passed half my commute very pleasantly...
Maybe I've just got more sophisticated tastes? :)
Congratulations Heroes writer team on creating the most ineffective Big Bad since Wile E. Coyote.

Did they ever actually explain to any level of plausibility whatsoever how Pacman can now paint the future?

He first did it when he took the African blokes potion. The guy told him that he was only just starting to realise the extent of his powers. I think the implication is that it was kind of a latent ability that the potion unlocked.

But does that not give him 2 distinct powers. Reading minds and seeing the future are not really connected are they?

God I'm so dis-interested I'm reading the thread before I've seen the episode. :(
No they're not. But considering Parkman's ability concerns the workings of the mind, maybe he is able to replicate the effect of the potion on his brain. I'm not saying that's it, but this continuity issue seems small potatoes compared to others.
I've never thought Heroes was that great but this was a crock of ****.
It was pants again. Watching Peter, Mohinder and Parkman having a rant over the rights and wrongs over HRG treatment was like watching an episode of Eastenders with everybody just screaming their heads off.
Pointless episode.
Quick note on the tag attached to this thread, "Heroes Season 4". This is actually season 3 (as can be seen from the episode number), although it's volume 4. Could somebody correct it please? The next two eps' threads are also mis-tagged. (Makes it hard to use the tags to navigate to other episode's threads...)
