Dilemma............

about 4months ago my daughter lost her samsung f480 tocco mobile,so after informing orange they replaced it using my insurance and everything was fine, but now my daughter has found her lost samsung stuffed down the side of the car interior.........(kids eh? )

now the phone is now locked as it was reported lost as i said......if i contact the provider (orange) will they unlock the phone or refuse to as i reported it lost?

it may sound like a silly question but it seems a shame to just throw away a very good mobile

The phone now belongs to Orange - they would have mentioned that when doing the insurance replacement - ring them and they should arrange collection of it.

Or at the very least why not donate it to one of the many charities that collect them

Sell it on eBay (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=44), make sure you let them know its blocked by the network, someone will find a use for it.

Your currently in possession of Orange property - phone them and ask them what they would like you to do with it, get it in writing, and follow it through.
