Im looking to buy a 32" LCD.
I have a budget of £300 to £400

The best value for money sets within that price range appear to be the

Samsung Series 4 32" LE32A436 HD Ready Freeview Widescreen LCD TV (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=2&url=http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/-/318/404/-/5320508/Samsung-Series-4-32-LE32A436-HD-Ready-Freeview-Widescreen-LCD-TV/Product.html?searchtype=genre)

and the

Samsung Series 4 32" LE32A457 HD Ready Freeview Widescreen LCD TV (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=2&url=http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/5507720/-/Product.html?searchstring=Samsung+Series+4+32%22+LE32A457+HD+Ready+Freeview+Widescreen+LCD+TV&searchsource=0)

Aside from cosmetic differences the only main difference appears to be the Dynamic Contrast Ratio.
LE32A436 = 8500:1
LE32A457 = 10,000:1

Has anyone got any advice as to which model I should buy? I can't seem to find any professional reviews on either of the models and Im also worried that the specs on play.com and other sites are incomplete.

Any information, or even other recommendations for a 32" LCD in my price range, would be greatly appreciated.

I got the LE32A457 over Xmas. Very impressed with it (although I did pay £269), I think the other one is an older model? not sure.

The samsung 4th series do have fairly basic sound, but if you put stuff through an amp then it doesn't really matter.

Could I ask where you paid £269?
