Picked up the hardback illustrated (Paul Kidby) version of this yesterday.
Not sure how you describe this not a graphic novel, but size of a thick annual - meant to be £17.99.
Was the Poundshop at One Stop (Birmingham) but had lots of other books as wel, must have got them from somewhere...

In case anyone is interested it was a pound!
If this turns out not to be widespread, any chance you could pick up a few copies for Pratchett fans? I'd love a copy and would gladly pay P&P, I doubt I'll be able to track one down...

"The Last Hero in Poundshop" - sounds like a feasible Pratchett title!
Cheers OP.

They had quite a few in Bolton last week but didn't see any left today.
That's a bargain. Think I managed to get it from the works going back a few years for about £5 which I thought was a good price then. I really should get around to reading it...

It's a great book, I've still got my first edition though, so don't really need it! (My wife bought it for me anyway, just in case - and have passed that off to a friend)
For anyone who likes Rincewind and Cohen along with some great illustrations - this is well worth the money.

These have been in Blackpool and Preston's Poundland for weeks. Still there as of yesterday (always go in to check out their books).

My OH picked up a copy of this in Worcester today - my youngest has it on his pillow and plans on going to bed with it!
Cheers for the heads up. Will pop down to the Torquay one today and check if they've any stock.
Plenty left in Torquay. I guess we're not cultured enough down here!
They had both paper and hardbacks. A lot more of the paperbacks (at least 20) and around 8-10 of the hardbacks.
