Stargate SG-1 DVD's R1

I've got the first series on R1 - but it's seems as if i've had it for ages. Other series eg Buffy, Angel, Sopranos seem to bring new ones out at regular intervals.

Does anyone know if series 2 is out soon or will I have to make do with individual R2 discs?

the R1 Season 2 boxset is scheduled for a September release this year.

September along with a re release of the film. May be R1 will get anamorphic and DTS to catch up with R2 but if they could just leave both versions on the disc like R1 currently then I'll buy
