This is one of those televisions that has got multiple 5 star reviews.
It is currently selling at John Lewis for £999 and I was on a waiting list with the Sony Centre for a refurbished one at £699, so £749 brand new is a very very good price. When What HIFI reviewed this originally (last year) it was selling for over £1300!
Yes there are bigger spec models out there by the likes of Samsung and LG but since the beginning of January I have been scrutinising the picture quality and cannot fault this model. I also prefer this styling, am not convinced that 100hz refresh rates is that important (I do play games on my PS3 by the way). 24P is more pertinent for film fans which this does boast. It was been out of stock nationwide for some time (those who did have it sold it at a premium) and it was unavailable yesterday on Amazon's site and think it just came into stock.
