How can I tell which are which? I've seen a few on websites, including Phillips that don't always mention the amount of memory.......the newer ones have 2MB, older 1MB? Is there a model number, so I don't buy the wrong one if need be?

The 1 meg model number is RU890 and the 2 meg is RU940

R.C.C seems to be too American - the reviews seem out of date, doesn't always give model numbers and when it does, eg TSU or TS-xxxx they aren't the same are what was given 2 posts about for example........

The model numbers I posted are the the UK models, the TS models are the US models. The only difference I am aware of between the UK/US is the case colour and the US has an inbuilt library of codes thus reducing the learning capacity. There are quite a lot of UK members at RC.

All of the model numbers mentioned by kcxdev match the FAQ at RC.

Section A1-02.
