pioneer 545 opinions ?

After finally cancelling my order through Techtronics I'm thinking of ordering a multiregion pioneer 545 through Justin and the forum links at upgrade heaven.
Just wondered if anyone had any opinions on this. Essential that any player I buy is capable of svcd playback and can play RCE

Why did you cancel your Techtronics order?

cancelled due to shocking customer service. Ordered my player 2 weeks ago. Was told it would be delivered on the monday, no sign. Then told it would be delivered on the friday, no sign. After trying to get through all morning yesterday to anyone in any department finally got through and was told to phone accounts. No answer in accounts all yesterday afternoon and most of today. Left 2 messages on the customer service line to ring me - both ignored. Finally got hold of someone in accounts who told me the order was cancelled on Feb 7th due to delivery address not matching credit card address. Even though I explained I'd just moved house when ordering. No phone call to say the order had been cancelled, no phone calls returned from any of my messages. Asked me if I wanted to reorder with dispatch being 2 to 4 weeks, thought sod that and am now looking for opinions on the pioneer 545 which I'm thinking of ordering through Justin at upgrade heaven through the forum links but need to know if it has svcd playback and if any of the lovely folk on here have any good or bad thoughts on it.

Hmm, that's a shame because Techtroniocs used to be quite good - mind you, I haven't bought anything from them in a long time.

Go for the pioneer, it's superb and Justin is the man to get it off:)
