They don't seem to exist - the choice is glossy or glossy surround.

Any recommendations please?

See if you can find a Sony 32S4000 left. The newer 32Vs and other models have gone shiny like all the rest.

Been looking too, glossy frames are really annoying.
Why would anyone want to be distracted by reflections from windows and lights?

My thoughts exactly - I just don't get it - go into any tv store and pretty much all the tvs look the same - and they've all got glossy surrounds which relect light.

According to an email to Panasonic they say their customer research told them this is what people want :shrug:

It's the same with laptops - the screens are all glossy here.

I accept a glossy screen on a tv, but the not the surround which doesn't have to be!
