For acting ability they were poor. Worse perfomance by a pair of tits since Beatty and Hoffman in Ishtar.

i really dont think 3000 Miles To Graceland deserves to be on the list, i really enjoyed it and thought it was a great action flick!

- I could think of much worse then Driven and Pearl Harbour!

- Travolta was great in Swordfish, nothing wrong with Affleck either!

- Jolie was the only thing that made me keep watching Tomb Raider!

- Stallone and Reynolds were onscreen together for about 3mins

I see they've found a replacement for Pauly Shore already. ;) :D

Criminal that 'Rock Star' and '15 Minutes' aren't nominated though.

I agree with you guys re: 3000mtg. Costner was really good in it.

He was dire in it - looked as though he was replaced by a robot impersonating Costner :D

Am I the only person who thinks the Razzies are a complete waste of time? They're just way too predictable. Even the Oscars have a few surprises now and again. The Razzies nominations just reads like a list of whatever big studio films have taken a bit of a critical beating. And whatever film Stallone released that year obviously.

I just think something like the Razzies should be challenging the establishment, not be part of it.

Worst Movie: Moulin Rouge

Surely that should have received a nomination. One of the most overrated piles of tripe I've ever had the misfortune to see.

I also want to know why David Duchovny in Evolution is not nominated - he has bad in that!

I'm absolutely amazed that Planet Of The Apes and Tomb Raider aren't up for worst films. I still get nightmares over these 2 turds.

John 316: Totally agree with you there on Evolution. Duchnovy was
truly awful.

Disagree with your opinion on 3000MTG though. I truly enjoyed this
movie. Best shoot-em-up i've seen in ages and a crackin' soundtrack to
boot.

15 minutes is class!

Agree that Planet of the Apes should have been nominated, along with David Duchovny and in fact evolution was awful!

Also, i thought FGF was quite good, just for the bit where hes skateboarding through the mall, class!

It is weird this film - there are those who really like it and those which think it is one of the worst action movies they have ever seen - I am in the who thinks it was absolutely dire with no plot, hardly any decent performances and decidely uncool action scenes. In fact all I can say for it is that:

1. Christian Slater is killed early on
2. Courteney Cox (as discussed a while back in another thread) looks f'n amazing in it
3. Kurt Russell is quite good in it

That is it - don't get me wrong, I absolutely love action movies and when I saw someone describing it at IMDB as 'Face/Off meets Pulp Fiction' I thought how can it go wrong - turns it that post must have been from one of the film's producer's as it is not fit to wipe Face/Off's arse and, bar guns and a few slomos, has nothing in common with that classic and even less in common with Pulp Fiction. Also, if you look at IMDB, you expect to see some total bloodbath - I didn't see anything that made me bat an eyelid.

I can totally understand your disappointment with the film when some plonker describes it as 'Face/Off meets Pulp Fiction' as it's obviously not that.

The first time i watched it i was disappointed with it, especially with the action scenes as they weren't long enough and i hated the 'MTV editing' to it.

Then i watched it again pretty recently and i really really enjoyed and realised it wasnt that bad, i had just built my hopes up to high initially and it was great seeing ol Kurt Russell in action again :)

I think 15 Minutes was probably the worst film I saw last year .... closely followed by Reindeer Games (Deception) and 3000 MTG !!!
