Blade 2 and Insomnia trailers

I downloaded trailers for both Insomnia and Blade 2.

I don't think Blade 2 looks great, heard to tell from this trailer. From the looks of things doesn't look much better than the first film.

From the trailer Whistler is back in it. How come? Didn't he die in the first film?

Insomnia looks very good. Al Pacino in a new Christopher Nolan thriller about a serial killer. For some reason they give the killer away in the trailer, must be some other reason behind that thinking!

Insomnia isn't really a whodunit. You find out who the killer is quite early in the original film as well.

and as for your question about Blade 2

Whistler is meant to be brought back to life by some group of vampires to get Blade on their side against the other group of nasty vampires.

Maybe he's going to make series of films about mental disorders since his last one was about memory loss.
