What's the point in releasing this DVD. All the epiosdes will subsequenly be released in time surely as following season box sets are issued. Pointless don't you think?

This (and subsequent releases of the same ilk) are targeted at casual fans of the show. Personally, I wouldn't buy it if you threatened to shove a sausage down my throat and stick starving dogs in my butt!

Well call me a sucker but I'm going for it, this has 2 classic episodes that are well worth my money!

The Itchy & Scratchy Movie

Homer "I know you wanted to go to see your film, but you can always watch TV"
Bart "TV sucks!"
Homer (insulted) "Look I know you are very upset right now so I'll pretend you didn't say that"

Springfield Film Festival episode

*The Critic* is seen dazed and hanging from a lampost by his underpants..

Bart "Oooh you bad mouthed Magyver didn't you!"

HOST- Your new film cost $4 million and is just you stood in front of a brick wall for 2 hours- how do you sleep at night?
WOLFCASTLE- On top a large pile of money, with many beautiful women

They release compilation DVDs like this because they know that they will sell.

Not everyone wants to wait for each season to come along, many people will buy this DVD.

Personally, I'll wait for the seasonal boxsets, but there is definitely a market for this DVD.
