I'm sure they announced that they will be showing this game live next Sunday...

Good game to pick, hopefully they'll show more Italian football in the future.

James Richardson will probably bang on about this on Football Weekly.

It never took off on five when they had the whole season last year - what would change?

I think its a one off rather than a regular, I'm not sure what happened, I just to be tuned in every week when it was on C4 back in the day, but I guess that was before the saturation of EPL on TV.

You took your time...

Thought you'd have been in here straight away with your love for the 2nd best team in Milan...

;)

This'll be great. Five's football coverage is useless, so that may have something to do with their lack of success. Football Italia on C4 was ok (and got decent viewing figures IIRC).

looking forward to the derby on sundy- big day: old firm and milan derby :D

i liked football italia when it was on C4... i remember watching the programme on saturday morning when richardson was summing up the week from the reports in the gazzetta dello sport with his espresso in hand... if they got that lassie off of 5's coverage to have the odd cameo at half time and richardson back on I think it would do well. I have enjoyed most of the serie a stuff i have seen this season.

Not that it makes much difference but they were not all from the same game. The first two were from a Serie A game and all the others were from one of the CL semis in 2003

same here about a second out of sync

Yeah but whats strange is that its only the commentators who are out of sync. The general sounds like the refs whistle are in sync with the picture.

They're probably in a studio in London doing the commentary from there and it's no properly in sync with the picture and sound from Italy.

How the hell did Stankovic not even get a shot off? It was on a plate for him!

Was suprised quite how slow the pace of this game was and you can see that Maureen has a new lovechild in Ibrahimovic - how quickly the memory of Didier fades - he just replaced one big guy to lump it to with another. It did work though :D

Pato looks good for Milan, but the rest of the team were asking an awful lot of him.

Should have been a draw - if Inzaghi sticks the chance away at the end - that would have been a fair result as Inter went far too defensive after going two up.

AdamBrunt
16-02-2009, 08:51
Wasn't Ibrahimovic at Inter before Maureen arrived ?

Agree with the other comments about the sound/video being out of sync - made the whole thing unwatchable for me.

Zlatan's been at Inter for three seasons now - ever since Juventus were relegated after the match fixing scandal. Don't think D J Fryer was implying that Jose bought him though.

Hope the match last night was a success, I've missed Italian football on UK TV this year, even though I can watch it via my foreign subscription, as the commentators on the world feed are useless

campdave is spot on - I just meant the media made an awful lot about how Mourhino was courting Drogba to get him to sign for Inter when now, it seems, there was little need. He had a ready made replacement to do the same job in Ibrahimovic!

hes been the best player in the league for over 4 seasons now, muronho spent all summer courting Quermesma only to ship him out as he didnt fit into ibracadabra's plans

Seriously people maye laugh outside of italy but check youtube for ibracadabra for some crazy skills
