Sorry peeps, can't find the list of spec/plat editions through the search facility.

Does anyone know the films that are getting the 5 star treatment, IFIRC there are 10 over the next 10 years. The first was 'Snow White', what's next and what are the others ?

Thanks in advance :)

When did Jungle Book get promoted from 2010 to 2006 - oh well, only four years to wait instead of eight!

Cinderella II is a direct to video/DVD sequel to the original. Disney have done it with a lot of their animated movies recently - Aladdin, Lion King, Lady and tramp, Beauty and the Beast and Fantasia off the top of my head.

Also Peter Pan sequel is out at cinema this year and a sequel to the Jungle Book is not far away......

I'm sure that I read somewhere that the Lion Kng had been brought forward a year to 2003.

Didn't Fantasia 2000 get a (possibly limited) cinema release?

Also, Toy Story 2 was originally conceived as a straight-to-video sequel -- what were they thinking?

correct on both counts. Most sequels to their animated classics are direct to video/DVD tho...

Was this not an IMAX only release at the cinema?
