View Full Version : TSP Book Club? Help!
Has anyone had experiences with TSP bookclub? They are doing an offer at the minute - 3 books for £3 (+ P&P), with no commitment to buy another book.
Is it really as good as this or do they hassle you constantly to buy another book?
If anyone has had dealing with them, please let me know what they were like - good and bad!
Thanks
Stevey
I ordered, got 3 books, the only commitment
is to stay a member for 6 months while they send you letters about recommended books that you have
to reject. Someone said that there is a way to auto reject from the website, but I cant find it.

I fulfilled the requirements and then told them I wanted to close my account. They wrote back saying that if I stayed with them I could keep the account running without having to reject the editor's choice each month :)
Hi. Wrong place to post, but someone will come along shortly to move it..
Anyway, I am a member and will recommend it. You do not have to buy any more books but will receive a leaflet/booklet every 4-6 weeks which you need to send back the form ticking 'NO' to the editor's choice. If you don't you will receive the book. You can also do this online, so it's not so bad.
Then cancel your membership after six months and start over again....;)

I did this before Christmas, got my books no problem :D ...go for it, there's no risk with this one.
...I think the idea of cancelling after 6 months is so that you can then rejoin and take advantage of the 3 for £3 offer again!! Others have done this, so it will work...and if you rejoin just before next Christmas...that's 3 presents for only £3
...can't be bad!
Moving to Supplier Forum.
there is no standard form for rejecting more than the current choice but if you use one of their feedback forms to request that they cancel the editor's choice they will. I asked them to cancel it permanently but they said that they cannot do that until the 6 months are up (thus fulfilling your commitment), however you can cancel multiple choices by sending something like the following.
I wish to cancel all editor's choice for February 2002.
I wish to cancel all editor's choice for March 2002.
I wish to cancel all editor's choice for April 2002.
I wish to cancel all editor's choice for May 2002.
I wish to cancel all editor's choice for June 2002.
I wish to cancel all editor's choice for July 2002.
And they will

I've not had any problems with them. Just take the £3 for 3 deal and then reject all recommendations on their website until you can cancel after 6 months.
One thing that you should be aware of is that the books are not standard paperbacks but rather "surplus" hardbacks that have been re-bound in a soft paperback-like cover.
Not a problem though and it shouldn't put you off.
Still a good offer whatever way you look at it! You get a free document case too!
