Don't know if I'm echoing a previous thread, but anyone know when this masterpiece series gets the DVD treatment for series 2?

According to the one man Criterion killer Mark Rance (the dvd's supplemental producer).

Its likely to go all 29 episodes. No dates though.

Sales of the series one hit over 150,000 which is a lot for this kind of thing.

i'm also itching to see S2 since channel 5 failed to broadcast it after S1 a few years back...I literally watched all of S1 back to back the other week and I can't wait for the next series!

Don't buy the spanish set with both series one and two as apparently the quality of the picture is at VHS level.

:( I hate to say I can vouch for that statement, pretty blurred not a nice print.
