Not sure I should be thanking you as this will probably involve my credit card coming out at some point, but that looks like a great find! :)

I held off buying the DVD releases and decided to wait for the 'Whole Bloody Affair' edition, still no definite news on that so its gonna be tough resisting the blu-rays at this price.

Does this still have the B&W crazy 88 sequence in it or has it been updated now to the Japanese version in full colo(u)r? :-)

If it's in colour, I'll go for it, otherwise pass...

Still colour. It is the same as the DVD (even the extras) but without DTS audio.

you mean b&w lol

Oops.

I dealt the colour version will be available anyway as it is distributed by someone else and was for Japan only. The rumour that the b&w sequence was made to get passed the censors of today is not true. It is to homage 1970's kung fu series which had b&w scenes to get passed censors back in the 1970's). The same scenes of the series when shown in Japan were in colour as they had no censorship.

I'll stick with my DVD copy then, at least that's my reason to stop me from double dipping ! :p

I could have got mine for £3. :( I used a £15 voucher to get it for £15 when it came out. I thought it might have gone up a bit which is why I got it asap when it came out. It never did.

It was still worth getting over the DVD version.

At least I now wait for a film to come down in price now and got several at under £10.
