The above does, must be a special edition?
I dunno if Blow is RCE but Play usually put RCE on titles to covers themselves if problems occur with playback.
Does your 444 have manual region selection? If it has then it shouldn't have a problem with RCE titles.

Its chipped.
yeh, but theres different chips out there, if you have the option to select the region on the player manually, chances are RCE shouldn't be a problem

my 444 plays rce discs fine, wouldnt play jeepers creepers though.
,
I have had no problems with any RCE disks on my 444. I guess it can depend on how the player has been adapted. I believe most 444s are hacked by a firmware mod and if you are able to explicitly set a region, RCE shouldn't be an issue even if it won't run when the player is set to multiregion.

A lot of retail websites -- Play.com especially -- list a lot of R1 releases as RCE, even when they are not. there are two or three main reasons for this:
1) They have made a mistake, which is quite common, because RCE is kinda up in the air, with some distributors using it and not saying so, and some distributers not using it but saying they do. I think this has settled down now though.
2) For a pre-order disc, the retail website may play it safe by saying the disc is RCE, before they know the details, then forget to change the information once they have found out the disc is not RCE.
3) Play.com has a policy of not allowing returns on RCE discs. So it is kinda sneaky, and lists a lot of non-RCE discs ars RCE, so that you can't return them. (It doesn't matter that they are not RCE, if you saw the status notice on the page saying they wouldn't allow refund of the disc, then you're stuck).
