Amazon.com today only. About £11 plus postage. Season one and two plus finale.

Good buy. Beware that I think the US release is slightly different to the UK one - some words and jokes changed for example because American's might not understand them! Sure somebody will confirm.

Good buy. Beware that I think the US release is slightly different to the UK one - some words and jokes changed for example because American's might not understand them! Sure somebody will confirm.as I posted at another forum ...Ordered shortly after I got the Gold Box email
as ever I paid in USD: $21.47 (~£15.60)
but Amazon.com give you the GBP payment option (£15.99)
- I use Nationwide CC, so never any foreign currency commission/fees
FYI ... this is the HBO version of Extras
- some scenes were very very slightly different to the BBC version (reshot with alternate dialogue) to maintain the context for a US audience
e.g. Delia Smith was changed to Martha Stewart, Billie Piper was changed to some young blonde US starlet, etc .... that sort of thing really, not censorship
- but a bit annoying in that Martha Stewart / other US celebs are not UK household names, so why on earth would a British person mention those names in the context seen in the programme? Gervais pandering a bit there, like Andy Milman ;)EDIT ... oh crap - why didn't I check the R2 price?!!! :cuckoo:
- my Amazon order is about to ship and can't be cancelled.
The R1 version of the Xmas special also has no extras does it? Whereas R2 has quite a bit of stuff.
And of course, as they are working on a new episode at the moment this is no longer the 'Complete' series anyway.
... also the Christmas special was shot in HD, and is out separately on bluray (my HD files of the HBO and BBC HD transmissions are better PQ than the DVD)
