Just dug out my PS2 to play a recordable DVD, as my existing players don't run DVD-RWs. Having plugged into the scart socket, the video plays in green. How do I stop this happening? Its been so long since I used it, I can't remember!!

It's because the PS2 can't output proper RGB. Disable component in the video options.

It only lets me have RGB, or something else. The other options makes everyhting green.

Thinking about it, I didn't have the problem when it ran through my old scart splitter. What difference would that have made?

The splitter may not have had RGB passthru and just chucked out a plain old composite signal to the TV.

iirc i have a scart cable with a switch on it to fix the green screen thing - maybe you could get hold of one of thoes?

Used to happen with mine, in the end I just went for the standard ariel type cable and that played OK.
