Could someone confirm if this here (http://www.dvdoo.com/dvdoo/film.asp?command=6410) is the version of Almost Famous Bootleg Cut that has a DTS soundtrack .. unlike the R1 which has the Theatrical version DTS and the Bootleg Cut as DD

I know this should probably be in Region Comparison Forum but does anyone actually look in there anymore :D

Very similar I believe - missing the sound track CD that the R1 package has

I have the R1 bootleg edition:
Disc 1: The bootleg cut (163 mins) is DTS
Disc 2: Theatrical version (124mins) is DD

However, the original single disc release has the theatrical version in DTS!

I also have the R1 and its the other way around I think you'll find

Bootleg Cut DD

Theatrical version dts

its was in this thread here (http://thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47382&highlight=almost+famous+bootleg) that I found out about the Scandinavian version ... just looking for some confirmation before I order the thing :D

I have yet to watch the discs, but the back sleeve defiinitely confirms my initial post. Maybe others who have got it could shed more light?

I agree with Pentasa

Disc 1, Untitled: The bootleg Cut, 2hrs 42mins, DD
Disc 2 Origianl Theatrical Version, 2hrs 3min, DTS and DD

This is as stated on the sleeve and having just watched the Bootleg version I can confirm that is definitely DD with no DTS option.

Excellent film!

Just get the R1 - it's one of the best discs I own...

PS - It is the theatrical version that has dts.

I misread the sleeve, and this is right. Looking forward to watching it tonight.
