Pringles voucher with Amazon GC pre-order

Can I use a Pringles voucher on my pre-order for my Gamecube, Ive just checked my order at Amazon and there is an apply Certificate box but it does state :

Please note: Promotional certificates may only be redeemed at the time that you place an order.

So I guess the answer to my question is NO, as I've already gone through with the order when it was still at the £149.99 price.

I wont be exactly gutted (it should cancel out the shipping costs though!) and dont want to risk losing the order at the cheaper price either, just wondered if any of you guys have tried it or think that I should be OK.

Solution:

Make another order, applying the promo cert.

Make sure it is still at the cheaper price.

Cancel original order.

I can't see why they wouldn't work, after all they are £2 off anything over £10.

I doubt it would work, you could just use the voucher on a memory card/extra controller (when they decide to sell them) and that would kind of work out the same wouldn't it?
