Networking Kits

Does anyone know of a cheap supplier for networking kits, in the UK, that accepts switch. I want it for gaming (I want to link my laptop to my desktop pc)

I've tried www.komplett.co.uk but they don't accept switch

Sapphire (http://www.sapphiresystems.co.uk/shopping/networkcards.htm) have one for £19.99 (2 nics and a crossover cable). Maplins have a USB Link Cable, dunno if they can be used for games though
