Unsurprisingly Tony is one of the good guys.
Was I the only one to give a little girly squeal of pleasure when Jack goes into full JB mode to break out Tony? Ear piece in, satchel only missing a hoodie!
And Chloe vs Janice :notworthy:clap:

Of course we all knew Tony was undercover. :D Not sure who's bankrolling Bill B's enterprise but it seems obligatory to wear black polonecks. Some good Jacktion although it seems all you need to do to escape from FBI headquarters is smash a window and stroll across the car park.
Why isn't this on Sky tonight :(
Edit: Seems to be something to do with both Fox and Sky planning on showing 24 on a Monday so Sky will always be a week behind, and there was me thinking UK TV schedules had started showing some sanity.
Is it just me or are they trying to make Bill look like Steve Jobs? Even got the Apple laptops in *CTU* to go with it....
Great episode!
I cheered when Chloe appeared - the Geek battle was ON!!
The escape from the Feds brought back the 24 magic that was missing last season.

That episode was better than the whole of last season.
 @ the 'This is gonna hurt' line
Bill Buchanan's haircut.

Now that's more like it!
A near perfect episode, with red herrings, plot twists and gripping (if ridiculously over the top) action galore. And the manbag returns, this time in leather!
Great to see Yoga Bill back (one of my favourite characters), but with him and Chloe returning, I can only assume one of them will get bumped off at some point in this series, especially given Bill is the only CTU director other than Jack that's managed not to die or get kicked out so far :( I loved his Princess Leia moment too: "He's our only hope..."
Pretty sure Tony was about to say "Audrey Raines might as well be...[dead]" so I guess she won't be coming back given her horsey psychotic episodes last series. More references to Logan (is this foreshadowing a possible cameo coming soon?), and bonus drinking game points for mentioning Teri twice in the space of a minute. The guy playing Sean Hallinger also did some impressive "smell the fart" acting.
The presidential plot continues to detract though, perhaps now the suicide has finally been proven to be a murder, it'll pick up. I wish the writers would decide how many people have died in Sangala though. It was 300,000, then 200,000 by the end of last episode, then this episode managed to put it back up to 300,000 before knocking it down 100k again. Do we have a Sangalan zombie crisis?

That's right folks, Chloe uses the latest Apple laptop to take on the evil FBI!

Jack Bauer Kill Count (so far): 0.5
Episode rating: 9/10 :notworthy
Best moment: A tie between the battle of the socially inept hacker girls, and Jack turning into John McClane ("This is gonna hurt").

Best moment for me was Jacks gun to the face of that FBI guy who you could tell he had been wanting to smack since he got there!

Hasn't Jack now tortured someone i.e. Tony? He nearly filled the 'broken neck' square with that one too

Nah, that's not proper torture :p
Although, I really do need to get a "Jack puts someone in a sleeper hold" square in for next season.
Brilliant. Absolutley loved that episode :D

Bill's haircut is very very silly. Makes him look like a tall Brian Sewell or something.
For a programme with such blatant Cisco sponsorship I'm surprised they allowed a storyline about a broken firewall that will take six days to fix
That was superb. The escape was the best thing I've seen in ages :D

Chloe vs Anti-Chloe was superb - both biting their lips at the same time, too. And Bill Buchanan in top notch yoga-honed shape, as you'd expect.
There were three cheers in my house watching this episode - once when Bill was revealed, once when Chloe was revealed, and once for Jack crashing through a ******* concrete wall on the first floor of a ******* car park at 10 mph driving a hotwired car from the footwell with only his ******* hands.
Class. Long may it continue.
Wooo! CTU isn't dead :)
The Bill reveal was awesome, Chloe Vs. FBIGeek was superb and the 'this is gonna hurt' stuff was Jack doing what Jack does. Wish he'd get rid of that mac tho....or maybe with this and the leather manbag Jack's more upmarket this season? Nah, give it time...
I do like Renee.

Out of the first 4 eps, this one was by far and away the best one - LOVED the bust-out of the FBI offices...classic 24 moment. The reveal of Bill and Chloe was marvellous. The 4th ep was a little dull in comparison, unfortunately...

My fav moment was Chloe saying some thing like "I can handle it ... they're just ******* me off".

It would have been funny if he'd tried to recreate the ambience by putting random panes of glass up and some hand-drawn CTU logos on the wall.
Chloe was back to her usual self and check the new hardcore Bill out. Loved it when Jack did his special choke hold on Agent Walker to knock her out for a few minutes...now would that really work ?

Can't wait for it to go into lock down. Bill will probably frantically jamming chairs up against doors and maybe even get a little flashing light out of a cupboard somewhere.
wonder if there will be a mole in the new diet CTU :)

Maybe in the garden.

 ... I'm eager to know if their landline phone has the CTU ringtone.
The FBI ringtone sux!
The CTU ringtone is no more according to one of the producers in a recent interview.

:(
I really think 24 has become a parody of itself. It's almost as if the writers are aiming to fill the bingo board these days and can't even be arsed to have anything vaguely plausible on the technology front - or indeed a vaguely plausible Big Threat (tm) this time round.
Unsurprisingly Tony is one of the good guys.

Man, I wet my pants with pleasure.... twice!!! I was having palpitations and punching the air in my growly Baueresque Virgina accent going "Yeahh!!"... it was such a fantastic, uplifting episode.
Can someone please remind me.... the husband of the president who's son has been murdered.... is that the young Wall Street guy who was killed in 24- Redemption?
No, that was his friend. At the end of Redemption, the son was the one that Jon Voight told his cronies to keep an eye on as he may have known too much.

I've just been in a lift with Tony Almeida and that complete hottie FBI agent :luv::luv: Think they've been on BBC Breakfast this morning. My god she's hot. Do we have a drooling smiley?
Just bumped into them again! Not stalking her or 'owt, like :n0rty: She is wayyy tall. Tony's a midget. I could have him in a fight, easy.
