Sony KV-28 FX 60 Wega problem

I have the widescreen sony fx 60 Wega and have noticed a problem while playing some dvds. When the picture is dark I get a blue line appearing in the top left of the screen. It is very thin and dissapears in light scenes. The line is the same colour of my DVD player's menu screen. If I change the menu screen to another colour, the line will also change to that colour. I only notice it in dark scenes. When I press the TV's remote menu, it disappears. I only get this in the widescreen format.

Does anyone else have a similar problem with their Wega?

Yeah, go into the service menu and increase either the v-size or v-pos a notch to hide it in the overscan.

How do I go into the service menu and how do i come out of it once I have made the change?

I just rotated the picture slightly to hide it........except during Smart mode for TV broadcasts, text can be slanted if you leave it.
